Death toll
“Journalists suffered one of their deadliest years ever in 2006, with Iraq once again proving the most dangerous place in the world for the media to work, two media watchdogs said on Sunday … Paris-based Reporters without Borders (RSF) said at least 81 reporters and 32 media staff were killed …”
It’s a pretty shocking statistic that this is the worst figure since the Rwandan genocide in 1994. Article here.

Interesting statistic. If I didn’t read the bias reports coming from most of the main stream media I would probably care but I don’t. The trouble with picking sides and not remaining neutral is folks stop protecting you or worse they target you. Highest death toll was only one statistic, they also set a new record for falsifying the most new stories in one year. Some of the better ones even doctored photographs and videos. Before I get beat up on, I am not saying all Newspersons are bad. The two of you who have not caved to pressure and remain professional enough to just report and not make or influence the news still have my respect. The rest of you please watch your backs. Apparently this world is not a safe place for biased reporters.
