On innovation

Creating Passionate Users has a great discussion on the disadvantages of the “wisdom of crowds” concept. The idea that a group of people will naturally choose the best option from their collective knowledge is found all over Web 2.0 sites, so it’s really interesting to see a critical approach to this method. Definitely worth a read.
