Networks in the US have aired the illegally-recorded mobile phone footage of Saddam Hussein, freezing it just as he’s about to die. Despite the newsworthiness of the sectarian taunts it reveals, showing this video of a man moments from death is disgusting and a grotesque reflection on society.
