“Hundreds of government websites are to be shut down ‘to make access to information easier’ for people.”

This is a great initiative, recognising how complex it is to have 951 different government websites. However, whether or not the government can streamline the information into sensibly-arranged sites without massively overspending remains to be seen - they’re not great at doing that.
