Suspect threatens suicide
“A terrorism suspect threatened to kill himself in front of a high court judge today in an outburst that interrupted a legal challenge to his control order.”
The government should surely be getting a message from the desperation of the people they’re holding without charge? Everyone has human rights. Article here.

So.. that ever flowing juggernaut of truth, The Guardian, presents a terror suspect in a pathetic light that seems to make judicial and legal authorities appear bullies and just plain inconsiderate.
The suspect himself, after several failed suicide attempts, considers himself a victim and demands, having put the court under penalty of his threat of self destruction, to be released so that his “right to private life” might be reinstated.
I didnt read of his promise to be a good boy and stop those pesky terrorist things.

What “pesky terrorist things”? If there’s compelling evidence that he’s a terrorist threat, then they should charge him. But there’s not (otherwise that would have happened already) so there’s no justification for subjecting him to control orders. He should be released.
