Guantanamo video
“Now that habeas corpus has been eliminated there are no traditional means to advocate for the rights of detainees and Guantanamo.”
Because of this, lawyers of Guantanamo detainee Adel Hamad have made an investigative video about his plight. It’s a sad reflection on what Bush has done to human rights that to release this information about their client they have had to post it on YouTube. Dear Guy,
Thank you very much for watching the video and for trying to publicize the plight of Adel Hamad. I would appreciate you spreading this information as widely as possible. Now that the Courts have been closed to us we have to use whatever medium we can.

No problem. I’ll keep on blogging about how appalling the situation is with Guantanamo. Have signed up on the Project Hamad website… hopefully others reading this will do the same.
