Google April Fools
Google carried out a couple of April Fools’ Day pranks yesterday, both of which were great. The first was Google TiSP. It allows you to connect to the Internet “via fiber-optic cable strung through your local municipal sewage lines”, i.e. flushed down your toilet. The second was Gmail Paper. If you don’t like checking your e-mail online, or you just miss old-fashioned filing cabinets, Google will now add a “paper archive” button to all e-mails to allow you to request a hardcopy to be delivered direct to your door. Both pranks include an extensive set of web pages which make for very funny reading.
Google TiSP is here. Gmail Paper is here. Found via BOL, here.
