Vista lawsuit
“A Washington State woman has filed a class action suit against Microsoft, complaining that the PC she bought with a ‘Windows Vista Capable’ sticker on it can’t run a full version of the Vista operating system.”
The PC can only run the bare-bones “Vista Basic”, which lacks most features Microsoft has been advertising. Yes it’s Vista, but not what most consumers would expect having seen the ads. It’s not even an upgrade version on a slow old PC - it’s a new computer! Maybe Microsoft should consider a ‘Windows Vista Aero Capable’ logo as well? From News.com, here, via BOL, here.
