US bars LSD academic
A Vancouver psychotherapist has been banned for life from entering the US after a random stop-and-search at the Canadian border. The customs official googled his name and found a 2001 journal article he wrote, in which he describes two times he has taken LSD. I could maybe understand it if he had admitted to illegally taking LSD recently and on US soil, but the drug was taken 40 years ago for research purposes, under the supervision of his graduate adviser and in Canada and the UK, not the US. It’s just insane…
