“The battle to deal with radicalisation in the fight against terrorism could take at least 15 years to achieve, the UK’s new security minister has said.”

What really strikes me about this is how stupid it is to place a timescale on terrorism. 15 years is a pretty arbitrary guess, and trying to guess how long it will be before terrorism is substantially defeated is a pointless exercise which diverts from the real work of fighting it.
