Compulsory electrocution bracelets
Jeffrey Denning blogs for the Washington Times about the latest invention of Lamperd Less Lethal, Inc. The “safety bracelet”, as they’re marketing it, is designed to be compulsory for airline passengers, and would take the place of a boarding pass, contain personal details, and monitor the whereabouts of the passenger and luggage. Oh, and a minor detail - it would also administer electric shocks at the whim of cabin crew through its inbuilt taser. If the idea of a company wanting to force passengers to wear an electrocution bracelet isn’t bad enough, what’s scarier is that the US government has asked for a written proposal regarding this disgusting, inhumane idea.
